OEAutoTronics Warranty Terms & Conditions

At OEAutoTronics, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. All eligible products are covered by the warranty term selected at the time of purchase. Our warranty is designed to protect customers against qualifying manufacturing defects and premature product failures under normal use.

1. Warranty Coverage

The warranty applies to the specific product and warranty term purchased with the order.

Touchscreen Displays / Digitizers

For products that include a touchscreen or digitizer, the warranty covers qualifying malfunctions, including:

• Unresponsive or intermittently responsive touch areas
• Abnormal or defective touch response
• Premature digitizer failure
• Digitizer-related blemishes or defects that develop under normal use
• Other qualifying touchscreen malfunctions caused by a manufacturing defect

LCD Displays

For products sold as LCD displays, the warranty covers qualifying LCD-related malfunctions, including:

• Loss of picture or display
• Abnormal or defective image development
• Premature display failure
• Significant display defects that develop during normal use
• Other qualifying LCD malfunctions caused by a manufacturing defect

2. Premature Defects

OEAutoTronics’ warranty covers qualifying premature product defects or failures that develop during the applicable warranty period when the product has been properly installed, handled, and used under normal conditions.

Examples may include a defective picture, abnormal display performance, premature digitizer failure, or deterioration of the display that is attributable to a product defect rather than external damage or improper handling.

3. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Physical damage
• Cracked, broken, shattered, or damaged glass
• Scratches, dents, or impact damage
• Damage caused by improper installation or removal
• Damage caused by excessive force, bending, pressure, or mishandling
• Damage caused by modification, alteration, or unauthorized repair
• Damage caused by improper electrical connection, voltage, or wiring
• Damage caused by water, liquid, moisture, fire, or other environmental conditions
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s functionality

Warranty coverage does not apply when a product has been physically damaged or altered in a manner that prevents OEAutoTronics from reasonably determining whether the issue is related to a manufacturing defect.

4. Warranty Term

The warranty period is determined by the warranty option selected at the time of purchase. Warranty coverage begins on the original purchase date.

Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser and original order unless otherwise stated by OEAutoTronics.

5. Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:

• Order number or proof of purchase
• Description of the issue
• Photos or videos demonstrating the issue
• Additional information reasonably requested by OEAutoTronics to diagnose the problem

OEAutoTronics may request that the product be returned for inspection before approving a warranty replacement or other warranty resolution.

6. Warranty Resolution

If OEAutoTronics determines that a product has a qualifying defect covered under this warranty, OEAutoTronics may, at its discretion:

• Repair the product;
• Replace the defective product or applicable component; or
• Provide another appropriate warranty resolution.

Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished, or equivalent in functionality and performance.

The warranty does not automatically guarantee a refund. Warranty remedies are limited to the options determined appropriate by OEAutoTronics based on the nature of the defect.

7. Installation and Labor

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the warranty covers the product itself and does not cover labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, diagnostic fees, vehicle downtime, shipping costs associated with installation services, or other incidental expenses.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are properly installed and handled.

8. Important Notice

Please inspect your product carefully before installation. If you notice any visible damage, defect, or irregularity, contact OEAutoTronics before installing the product.

Installing, modifying, or attempting to repair a product may affect warranty eligibility if the action causes or contributes to the reported issue.

9. Final Warranty Determination

OEAutoTronics reserves the right to inspect and evaluate products submitted for warranty service and to make the final determination regarding whether a reported issue qualifies for warranty coverage under these terms.

These warranty terms apply in addition to any product-specific warranty terms stated on the applicable product listing.
