I replaced the faulty touch screen in my Subaru Outback with this one, purchased from OEAutoTronics. I followed the replacement procedure as described in OEAutoTronics excellent repair video.
After first removing the Head Unit from my vehicle's dashboard, I took it to my workbench and, as per the video, removed the fauty unit, cleaned off the old adhesive and installed the new one in just over an hour.
I followed another video to learn how to remove the head unit from the dashboard. The complete job including head unit removal, touch screen replacement, and reassembly took about four hours. My repair was completely successful and only cost me $310 for the touchscreen.
This is a savings of nearly $3000 compared to having the dealership replace the whole head unit. I could not be happier!

Great touch screen replacement option

I was hesitant to change this out myself but with tips from the OE team I decided to give it a try. The whole process took me about an hour. The hardest part was getting the old adhesive off of the head unit. I ordered a $10 kit off of Amazon to remove dash trim without damaging it but could have probably done without it. It’s working great. Follow the YouTube instruction video and you should be fine.

Touch Screen Digitizer - 2018 2019 Subaru Legacy

I was told I needed a new radio which would cost around $3000, but my problem was the system's digitizer, so I replaced it with one purchased at OE AutoTronics and it fixed the problem and my radio system works as it should. I appreciated the ease of ordering and the speed in which I received my order.

Outback 2018 replacement

Was not difficult to replace. The longest part was removing the old glue. Go slow and be patient. The whole process took about 4 hours. Radio works like new.
The new screen was delivered on time. No issues, would reccomend this company.
